Just Dance & Wii Rant

Beep -Beep hey there all DJ Dizzy here I know its a late start but I've been busy but anyway I wanted to try something different now I know game reviews are nothing new but I'm not only going to be taling about a game but a counsel as well so this is my first time on both so bear with me on this.

Just Dance: Okay the game I'm talking about for this month is Just Dance I've played the 2011 version a while back as well as the 2013 version & in all seriousness I didn't really care for it too much because of some reasons & here they are:

The Gameplay As far as gmae play goes you just stand around in a pose as the music plays & the arrows then flash on the screen as you try to rack up some points. So in a way its a rip off Dance-Dance Revolution.

As for the Wii the counsel itself is a total joke because if anything you have to move around with the controller in your hand in order to maneuver the character's actions.

But to keep things short this little song should further explain my  thoughts & hatred for it.

The Wii Song

So overall  they're both a waste of time & money in my opinion & I'm all about sitting down whenever I play a game. So the Wii is something better left alone. As for just Dance sorry to say it just didn't work with me. If I offended anyone that owns the counsel keep in mind that this is all an honest opinion so please understand this when I say no hard feelings.

How to tell if you're a 90s kid (Part 2)

This is a follow up to How to tell if you're a 90s kid. Enjoy!

You know you're an even bigger 90s kid if you did the following:

You got off into Weekly Reader or Ranger Rick magazines ( Yeah I do remember those.)

You still practice the Tootsie Roll & still do it to this day.

You were a full on Lego maniac. (LEGO MANIA!!)

You're still down with OPP & you're still trying to find out what it meant.

If you remember when there were once cartoons weekday mornings, Afternoons, & Weekends. (Those were they days.)

You're still trying to fingure out what Living La Vida Loca meant.

You still remember when AOL was actually useful

If you are still quoting lines from The Mask (SOMEBODY STOP ME)

If people asked you if those were Bugle Boy jeans you're wearing.

If most of those educational kiddie shows creeped you out.

If you're still getting Jiggy with it.

If you miss the good old days of TV & radio. (Don't we all.)

If you wanted your MTV (Who'd want it now?!)

You just HAD to own every last Babysitters Club book. (I never really got off into those.)

You found yourself caught up in the consel wars. (You know what I'm talking about.)

You still make calls to those party lines.

You remember when CN & Nick actually had GOOD cartoons.

If you wanted to be like Mike.

You were rocking every pairs of Skechers money could buy.

You were all about the New Jack Swing sound.

You still make mixtapes. (Best past time ever.)

You were rocking ring & push pops.

Well that's all for now but feel free to like or comment.

How to tell if you're a 90s kid (Pat 1)

Okay I've been meaning to make this for sometimt now so this goes out to all of you fans of the 90s be they youung or old. Enjoy! (Pay close attention & don't go denying anything.)

You know you're a real 90s kid if you did the following:

If you had a crush on a cartoon or TV character. (Then again we all did.)

You litterally jumped when "Jump Arund" by House of Pain played. (Kriss Kross as well.)

You played video games on Sega or Nintendo in your underwear untill whatever time.

You used to call those 1-900 or 976 numbers (You know you did it stop lying.)

You rocked all sorts of Hugo Boss, Fubu, or Tommy Hillfiger clothes. (RIP Fubu)

You remember BET, VH1, & MTV were all about REAL music.

You wanted your MTV. (I was more into BET & VH1)

You still collect pogs, beany babies, or troll dolls. (WHY?!?!?!?!?)

You stayed up late to sneak a peek at the Adult Channel or any of the late night shows. (NO DENYING IT YOU BIG FAT LIAR)

You used to watch Soul Train after the Saturday Morning cartoons & copy the dance moves at whatever event.
(LONG LIVE SOUL TRAIN & ITS DANCE LINE!)

You learned how to play a song from your favorite cartoon or TV show & sang it constantly.

You had to have every last toy or game you saw on TV.

You can quote lines from some of the biggest movies then.

When a fight or riot broke out you screamed MORTAL KOMBAT!!! (You know you did & if you did rest your voice.)

You remember when TV was actually good & you didn't want to be disturbed when your favorite show came on.

You cranked up the volume when the theme song to your favorite show. (Yeah you know you did it.)

You danced in your PJs or your underwear to your favorite song on the radio.

You played with Barbie or any little kiddie stuff. ( WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!)

You used to sneak in some "In Living Color" & got in trouble for it.

You still rock 90s hairdos or clothes to this day.

If you read Goosebumps or Animorphs books.

You daydreamed about a celebrity ot had a crush on them.

You still use catchphrases or lingo from the 90s.

Well that's all for now but feel free to come up with your own & I'll add it on to my list. But I hope you like it.

2015 Rock n roll Hall of Fame rant

Hello there one & all DJ Dizzy here & this time around I've got something to say this time on this years Rock n roll hall of fame induction ceremony. So let's dizzy it up shall we?

Okay so in the last month I had the pleasure of watching the induction ceremony on HBO & well while it was nice that some of these singers & bands got to be inducted after so long one thing I can't help but have some mixed feelings on afew of them. Such as Green Day getting inducted into the hall of fame. I mean sure they're well known for good tunes but I'm having some mixed feelings regarding that this is a band that's been known for selling merchandise & having their music featured on MTV. They're a group I like to call Coporate Punk. They're kind of everything punk rock rebelled against.
Because I though punk is more about anarchy.

So my question on that would be how can a group like that be inducted into the hall of fame & why are you going to overlook someone really deserving like say Doro Pesch who was perhaps the first woman in metal? Also why overlook say George Thorogood & the Destroyers when are they going to get their chance? I mean sure The hall of Fame is all about inducting people regarding their music & contributions but also I've ntoiced there are some people that get overlooked for who knows why.

So I'm going to side with Eric Stuart & Eddie Trunk on the Hall of fame when I say they need to quit overlooking some decent talent & also stop inducting people that don't really deserve it Yes its all about good music but still it's called the Rock n roll Hall of fame not The Hall of fame for random stuff. So my main point is they'll induct anyone for not just music but for who sold the most records.
Which is as bad as say Justin Beiber getting a milestone award at the Billboard awards, (And I've got a lot to say on that.)

Well that'll do it for me so here's some tunes.

Local Sights: Cherry Blossom Parade & Festival

Hello one & all it's DJ Dizzy here & once again it's time to Dizzy things up. A while back in the month of March in Macon GA I had the pleasure of scoping out this year's Cherry Blossom Parade & Festival. Though it wasn't the best parade by far the costumes & decorations were very good. They also have the crowning of the years Cherry Blossom Royalty as well as other events such as the fire fighters competition. Not to mention many other events such as the music festival.

Here's a video of one of the events as an example:

Fire fighters competition

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKoGRT9fD9s

As for the parade itself there were a few local participants involved such as volunteers from TV & radio stations & multiple companies. The theme of course was pink since it's all about the cherry blossoms. They even got their mascot in on it. Who's name is Pinky the Poodle. Who looks something like this:

(Try shaking that off)

But anyway although it wasn't the best parade the events were pretty good but if you're looking to see something like this yourself well unfortunately this is the last one they did for this year mainly do to lack of funding but there's a chance it'll come back in the future depending on the situation. But anyway that's one of the events that I had the pleasure of seeing a while back.

Also as a bonus I wanted to show some pictures of a trip that I took over to the airport in Atlanta:

World of Pain

This song is about anyone who feels betrayed in some ways

World of pain- lyrics

Hard rock instrumental

(Verse 1)
I find myself going
out of my mind.
I'm always the girl that's
left behind.
You always get bathed in your fame.
I sometimes feel that you have
no shame.
I can't take anymore.
we're at an end & I'm out
the door.

(Chorus)
World of pain. it's too much to bear.
I'm always stuck in such despair
World of pain. Scorned by your fame.
I find myself. Stuck in a world of pain.

(verse 2)
Hear these words. I'm making a fresh start.
I'm sick of wearing these scars on my heart.
I can't take anymore
this is it I'm out the door.

(Repeat chorus)

(Instrumental, Guitar solo.)

(Repeat chorus twice.)

I find myself trapped in a world of pain.

Going Trpping: Henry Doorly Zoo Review

Hey there guys it's your good friend DJ Dizzy here & in addition to writing & learning new things I've been doing a whole mess of traveling & exploring new places along the way. One place I've been to that I've had the pleasure of visiting would be the famous Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha Nebraska.

This zoo isn't like anyone I've been too it's got a lot more attractions. One of which that I'm sure you'll enjoy is the huge aquarium which is home to many sea creatures such as penguins.

(I recommend not shooting any photos of them chances are you'll get mooned by them.) But anyway in addition to them you'll see huge catfish & stingrays, sharks, & transparent jellyfish. & shape shifting octopi. There's even a holographic puddle that you can play in which I had the pleasure of trying out.

Also there's a habitat for the butterflies which is out in nature with a path of course.in the start of the trip there will be a guide that'll specify not to touch ANYTHING while in there.

So you really have to be careful & on your best behavior while in there. But also know this: When you come out there are mirrors that'll  be sure to see if you have anything leftover because the butterflies have been known to escape.

Another thing I highly recommend while there is the chairlift when I went on for the first time I'll admit I was scared since I was in midair but overall it was fun. There was all kinds of rhinos & giraffes & roaming around at the time & it offers a great view of their habitat among everything else.
which was something radical.

I also had the pleasure of checking out some of the other habitats such as the tiger & lions.  The lions weren't too lively but the tigers are another story, I really lucked out after seeing a white tiger for the first time. ( I tried to get a picture of it but sadly it wouldn't stay still.) But overall it was a lot of fun.

So that's my adventure over at the Henry Doorly Zoo. It was very well kept & the staff was pretty friendly, If you're ever in Nebraska on a visit then I highly recommend this place for a great family vacation or some good old fashion fun. So it gets a perfect 10 from me.

Well that's it I just thought I'd try something different such as talking about some recent travels that I've done though I might go back there once again. But if you happen to be in Nebraska I suggest you check this place out.

Well that'll do it for me so here's a little something for you
