Thoughts of a DJ: A time to believe

Hey there its DJ Dizzy here & I want to offer some words of wisdom to all of you. Its a new year & chances are there are going to be some challenging times ahead for some though for most memorable. So I'd like to offer some words of wisdom in this new year.

Don't let the petty things of the past get you down. Sure there are going to be some things that may hinder your progress & you may find yourself doubting your own abilities but all you can really do is find the courage & will to keep going strong each day.

Prayer & support for a friend

Hello there one & all Its The DJ coming at you this time with something that I'm sure will get your attention. I happen to hear that voice actor extraordinaire Rob Paulsen was recently diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer. Luckily the doctors caught & he's seeking treatment however we need to show some support in his time of need & send some prayers his way.




My thoughts on this were of shock & surprise cause this is a guy that not only I but many of us in our generation grew up listening to even the next gen what with the remake of TMNT among classic shows that we all know & love.

So I just want to say to him that my thoughts & prayers are with you & while you're in good health keep on fighting & rock on we all love you Rob so stay strong for us all. For those of you who aren;t quite familiar with Rob or his work here's some videos of how talented this guy is

Beep-beep: Hello again folks DJ Dizzy here to bring you some subtle but sad news for all of you gamers out there, This time around we're saying goodbye to a network that has been good to both gamers & geeks alike or anyone in between. That's right I'm  talking about G4.











It was announced that on New Years Eve that it would cease all programming & leave the airwaves. Now for those who aren't to familiar with it G4 was a TV channel that was about shows that were dedicated to gamers & it had shows for them as well as many others. Also it offered action movies as well as other shows. (One show I liked would be Cinimetech & Kaiju Big Battle but I digress.)

They also included anime in a block called Anime Unleashed which would debut a classic such as Boogie Pop Phantom as well as BECK Mongolian Chop Squad. But my main point is though I'd watch it from time to time it offered some decent shows though it wasn't really my cup of tea. It had a good run so with that said it was good while it lasted.

So let me just say for all of the people that did watch it you'll always have the nostalgia of it via You Tube.

New year, New things

Thoughts of a DJ: 2016 in retrospect

Hey there one & all it's the DJ coming at you once again with a special look at the year 2016. Now there were some shares of good & bad times however I'm going to do something different.






For some the year is about looking back on the events that happened in the media but how about we concentrate on what happened locally & with ourselves. A perfect example is getting to travel to different places & learn a little bit about them & how they do things as far as events go. I had the pleasure of doing some traveling I was lucky for that because I got to see all kinds of things either from a distance or in person.

A perfect example getting the chance to see Atlanta's airport for the very first time was a real treat for me. As well as a chance to see new places & meet new people along the way. But aside from that this year has been great aside from getting to reunite with old friends as well as just visit new places is just what I was doing this year among other things.

However we did lose quite a few people this year which is quite tragic & they'll be greatly missed. Also we came this close to having a female president & although we made an effort & we saw our fair share of some gold medals in the summer Olympics as well as some shares of scandal & drama.

But in all of the loss of celebs & events that were considered disappointing
lets also keep in mind that the upcoming year should also be about reflecting on the moments that might not have been much to some but is still sentimental as it should be. So my main point is this: Make the year as awesome & as memorable as you can cause life is too short for drama & the best thing to do is to live life as best you can.
