How We Roll- Lyrics

This is another song that I wrote in case you're wondering this is just a hobby. Enjoy

How we roll- Lyrics

(Verse 1)
If you thought we were done
No we aren’t through just yet
We’re just getting warmed up
Underestimating us is what
You’ll soon regret.
That much you can bet.
We’ve got a spark guiding us
reaching our dreams
Grabbing life by its horns &
taking it to extremes.
We’re breaking down all of the wall
So everyone hear this call.
We’re showing what we’re made of
cause that’s how we roll

(Chorus)
This is how we roll
We’re going to break on through
No reason why it’s just what we do
We’ll keep going strong in the dead of night
Cause we aren’t going down without a fight.
This us how we roll
Nothing stands in our way
Soon you’ll soon realize
that we don’t play
You know about how
hard we can rock
Well this is how we roll.

(Verse 2)
Enough is never enough
Want to try to silence us well that’s tough
We’re getting our kicks anyway we can
We’ve got luck on our side
& a decent sense of pride.
To get an ultimate rush
Is our master plan!
We’ll continue to keep going strong.
Self-belief is on our side
But we’ll see for how long.

(Chorus repeats)

(Guitar solo, Instrumental.)

(Chorus repeats twice.)

You know about how
hard we can rock
This is how we roll
Yeah rock n roll!

Heavy Metal Rant

Hey there one & all it's DJ Dizzy here & this time around I want to cover something that's been kind of getting on my nerves for sometime. The stereotype about hard rock & heavy metal. Here's what's up now there are a lot of people that seem to think that both of these music genres have something to do with the occult. This is not really the case at all.

Here's the deal both hard rock & metal are really just more edgier forms of rock n roll which evolved from the blues. Rock n roll was once considered as the rebellious music that your parents didn't want their kids listening to because of some of the so called messages that they were once sending out,
Nowadays that's all changed. Because thanks to major record labels rock is now fallen into the modern rock or the pop category & these days it's considered clean cut with hardly anything to rebel against.

Hard rock & metal in this day & age is now considered the new form of rock n roll with it's spirit of rebellion so what I have to ask about that is only this: What's the difference between us rebelling through metal & our parents rebelling through rock n roll? Answer absolutely nothing. In a way we all need a voice to speak out against whatever may be wrong with society & how they want us to be.
Or if you're looking for a good rush or something to bang your head to ir dance both rock & metal is what you'd turn to for a good time.

So my main point is only this: I don't know who came up with the thought of metal or hard rock being associated with the occult but if anything I say that it's a way of express yourself when angry with what's around you or a way of having a good time & to all of you parents who grew up on rock n roll you might want to consider your own wild times before you start agreeing with some of the people who share the farfetched idea. Hard rock is just as important when it comes to music & if anything no need to sell it to the masses or even market it. Rock may be the new form of pop but hard rock & metal will always be immortal.

Well that's all I have to say for now but as always we'll talk again so here's something from Night wish.

Anime Review: InuYasha: The Final Act

Beep-Beep hey there one & all it's your old pal DJ Dizzy here storming the scene once again to bring you yet another anime review that of InuYasha the final act.

Now this one takes place after the original where it left off with our favorite bunch of heroes as they continue to defeat the ruthless Naraku & restore the sacred Shikon jewel to its former glory.
The series starts off interesting with that of Kagura one of Naraku's former minions making a daring escape to regain her heart & her freedom but is suddenly stopped by Hakudoshi another minion of his & to her surprise decides to join in on her rebellion as they team up to try to take him down. But unbeknownst to them both he already knew of they're betrayal courtesy of Kanna the mirror demon.

Meanwhile InuYasha & his crew are on the trail of getting closer to finding Naraku as they then encounter Hakudoshi as he begins to destroy them but then because of his treachery Naraku decides to take away his barrier as he then looks on in shock to realize that he's now being sucked into Miroku's wind tunnel as their search then continues & courtesy of Kagura are able to gain new info as to whereabouts of to Naraku's heart & the Shikon jewel.

As far as the rest of the series goes I'm not going to give too much away but I'll say that some more of Naraku's minions get killed off but overall I just have to say that it is about time that they got rid of Hakudoshi because its my honest & humble opinion that he was in fact annoying conniving little brat. And it's also finally nice to see that after a long time that he finally got what he deserved.

As the series progresses on more enemies get defeated & at long last we get to see Sesshomaru's mother make her debut as well as him getting a new sword & left arm in the process as well as the other characters getting more developmental & newer skills with their weapons along the way. Thus leading to the ultimate showdown with Naraku a.k.a. Onigumo as they get ready for a battle  for their lives which is something you should stick around for.

As far as the acting I was shocked to learn that some of the original actors had gotten laid off due to budget cuts but their replacements do an okay job but they don't quite compare to the originals in my opinion. But for all of you fans of InuYasha this series is for you & for all of you newbies who aren;t all that familiar I recommend you checking it out from the very beginning. You can catch the entire English version on JustDubs.com or if you prefer the Japanese version Crunchyroll is another great place to go as well.

As for my thoughts on this series I just have to say that it's about time that they did a long awaiting sequel to the original series because we've been sitting on pins & needles long enough. Though it took a while its much better than the original. So I give InuYasha: The final act a 9 out of 10.

I should get going but beforehand here's some tunes to keep you in motion.

Anime Review: Samurai Jam

Hello one & all it's your old friend DJ Dizzy here & this time around I've got a review of anime that make you laugh as well as get your head banging I'm talking about Samurai Jam.

This comedic action packed show takes place in the Edo Period & tells the story of a electric guitar strapped samurai who answers to the name Ryoma &  he wants to become a musician but needs permission of the Damimiyo in order to do so. Along the way he meets to more samurai who he calls Sensei because he seems to know it all. & his partner Cindy who is partly biased. Sensei tell Ryoma San that his music is considered rock n roll which is foreign to them because its based out in the west. So through him they're able to discover something called the 'Heart Soul' that allows them to form a band & beat out the really popular boy band that's currently on top.

As for the plot itself it's basically new band in town wants to be the best in the east. Pop band isn't having it so they do whatever they can in their power to stop them & then rule the music world & more as they should.

Though I've seen one episode of the series if anything this is one show that's quite a laugh & has some good music to go along with it. Its like BECK MCS meet Gravitation sort of but you'll enjoy it. if it's a good laugh & good music that you want then this is the anime for you. I give it a 7 out of 1

Now you're in for a real treat here's some music form Samurai Jam it's a song called Rolling Thunder.

Anime Review: Kill La Kill

Beep-Beep DJ Dizzy here & I'm back with yet another anime review this anime in that I'm spotlighting this time around is a new one called Kill la Kill.

It tells the story of two sisters one named Satsuki Kirayuin  who's the student body president of  Hounoji Academy but though she starts out as an antagonist she really isn't. She commands the students through their rank of stars on their Goku uniforms which enhance a person's power depending on their rank.

The other girl, Ryuko Matoi comes to the school as a transfer student  acting the main heroine who's  known for her violent temper. Her main mission is to find out who killed her father the creator of her uniform Senketsu & her scissor blades. But in order to find her answer she has to face down every last club captain of the school before she can actually face off against Satsuki herself.

As the series progresses she's pursued by a mysterious man who wants to destroy her uniform before it ends up possessing her entirely. Not to mention dealing with a whole mess of crazy people along the way.

But later on we then come to realize that Satuski isn't what she appears & was putting on a front to keep away suspicion away from the real antagonist. None other than her own mother Ragyo Kiriyuin who plans on clothing the entire world in a mysterious source called life fibers through her clothing line Revocs. She also reveals to Ryuko that she was testing out her strength to see if she had what it took to fight alongside her & join her cause & that the club captains are also her elite fighting force.

Ryuko would also come to find out that Satsuki is her older sister & that Ragyo is also her mom & that her assistant the Grand Designer Nui Harume was behind killing her dad who also happens to be Satsuki's dad also! Then things really get real along the way as they along with her best pal Mako & her family, & elitle fighters team up to take down both Ragyo & Nui & put an end to their evil plan.

As for the plot itself it'll leave you on the edge of your seat as you see Ryuko fight her way getting closer to finding out her answer & her enemies. Though there's some touching & funny moments it's a real adrenaline rush.  As for the characters here's a link to see what they're all about.

Kill La Kill- Characters

http://kill-la-kill.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters

There's some nudity as well as lots of violence so this show isn't really for the faint & weak of heart   It's a 24 episode mini series that I guarantee you'll enjoy & it'll really have you wanting to see more. So with that said I have to say that after watching this show for myself it was really something out of the box & it was just out of the ordinary despite a ridiculous plot. This DJ give Kill La Kill a 7 out of 10

but I will recommend the soundtrack which is something epic which is a mix of hard rock & some classical music & some techno as well.

Speaking of the soundtrack here's the main fight song itself:

Book Review: The Rock Star's Homecoming

Good evening everyone, It's your friendly neighborhood DJ Dizzy here,
I thought I'd try something different this time around I'll be spotlighting a book that's chalk full all sorts of scandal & surprise. That of The Rock star's Homecoming by Linda Gould.

It tells the story of a southern band called Sunburst who are scheduled to make a comeback in their old hometown & this girl named Imogene is doing a report on them & convinces them to come perform at the campus for the school's homecoming. There's also all kind of scandal such as another student who secretly has an affair with her own teacher. This book is an absolute must read for teens & adults alike. So I recommend it for all of you who are into a good read. It's available through amazon.com depending on if you buy it used but overall it's a great read once again the name of the book is called The Rock Star's Homecoming.
