French Silk Pie

This is my take on those food dances. Enjoy!

(Chorus)
Got to have a taste of some French silk pie
Come on let me have it without it I'd die
Got me a craving for French silk pie
Without that sweet taste I'd just die.

(Verse 1)
Now step then walk it out
Step  then walk it out.
(Repeat 3x )
Wait a minute time for something new.
Jump to the left & slide it to the side
(Repeat 2x)

(Repeat Chorus)

(Verse 2)
Now step then walk it out
step then walk it out
(Repeat 3x)
Stop something new now.
Jump to the left slide to the side
(Repeat 2x)

(Chorus Repeats.)

Hey there's nothing wrong with sweet patato or lemon neither.

Tales from the rockers domain: My thoughts on the music scene.

Okay I got been diving through the archives of the music scene as of late & when it all comes down to it
Some supposed artist  that I've seen tend to worry more about there image  rather than their own talents.
& new singing sensations (If you can even call them that.)  It's the same thing every time
just a good looking person lip syncing or taking credit for someone else's work.
Even in concert these singers lip sync they don't actually sound like that off stage or in reality.
(It's either a voice track or enhancement.) & although some singers claim its their real "voice"
It really is not. Also when it comes to the rock n roll hall of fame I have to side with what
Eric Stuart had to say about how they just induct random artists in there it's partly out of record sales or most downloads. What about the more iconic groups like the Beastie Boys or Red Hot Chili Peppers? Or even The Sex Pistols & the Ramones? They've been around longer than any of today's singers  & yet they get snubbed each time. Now I'll say this It should have to be not just about who's more "popular" but rather include the legends & icons. After all they set the bar for the music scene. (I may be young but I know music.)
I should also mention that now some of the music isn't really as it should be. I've noticed that rock music seems to fall into the pop category now &  speaking as a musician & rock afianado but THAT AIN'T RGHT!! In fact bubblegum pop has pretty much taken over when it comes to rock music. When I think of rock that isn't what I want to hear. When you think of rock music you want a gut busting pulse pounding thumping drum solo. The off the wall wail of an electric guitar. The soft spoken yet hard working melody of a piano & a deep sounding slap that's in your face from a supped up bass guitar.
(Thats what rock music is to me.) There's nothing wrong with experimenting with other styles but don't classify it as something else.
& I should mention if your at least going to give someone props when it comes to music don't ever overlook the singers that were considered "forgotten" Cause when you least expect it they might come back just to please their fans & it's always great to have a learning experience for the next gen. Even if they aren't that well known you should give them props regardless.
That & if you are planning on a career in music or show biz they thing you need to ask yourself as a performer are these
four questions:
Do you want to do this for the rest of your life?
How can your fame benefit yourself, your fans , & others?
Can your talents succeed you?
Is the world ready for you & are you ready for it?
These are some things that most up & comers forget the moment their egos take over some of them lose sight of why the got involved in the biz & what they set out to do because its a matter of I can do & say what I want with no limits & this is why they burn out. & It should be more about talent rather than image or gimmicks. They may work but in the long run stuff like this can wear on your fans & you should care more about your music rather than that or anything else.
One last thing: As much as it's cool to use a stage name or alter ego the best thing to do is to save it for the stage or when you're performing. Its cool just don't go overboard. Because I've seen enough of that Don't turn yourself into a gimmick or sell yourself out because as a musician that's the last thing you want to do. & if you want to be a good role model here's a thought STAY OFF THE DRUGS!!! PEOPLE ARE WATCHING YOU!!! Yeah that's a big one because if your going to have people emulate your over mve you might want to think about what you do beforehand.
Well these are my thoughts mostly on the industry & what its become & it shouldn't have to be a popularity contest cause now that's all it really is. Record sales & downloads shouldn't matter & neither should how many Grammy's you have. The only thing that should matter is what you think. Thank you.

So for now here's something to chill out to

Memo to Hollywood: Tone it down

I've noticed that the film industry has been going down hill as of late. & it's usually the same thing everytime. The beef I have with them is how they depict people be it with race, gender, or handicaps in some films. I'll break it down individually starting with:
Ethnicity:
Now I noticed when the movies tend to do a film on black people they'll usually have them either in the hood or in church or in a nightclub. Now I'll say this there are a lot of articulate blacks out there. So isn't it about time we saw some on the big scren instead of always the same old thing? & it's not just blacks they do this to nearly every diversity: Not all blondes are dumb or socialites. & Not all Asians or Mexicans are well mercenaries or whatever. They feel like they need to type cast people based on their race. Not just that but also it's
Gender:
Now thing that really gets me is why do some films make good looking women out to be sex symbols. You can still be good looking in glasses right? Not all people are sexy & even they get there share of dates. & Also what's wrong with a women having power in a man's world? We can play just as hard as the guys. Not all girls are prissy or girly. Look at me I'm a girl but I let a belch fly every once in a while. (I'm sure that some of you girls have done it too now.)
Disabled or handicapped:
Now I've noticed that some movies even tend to potray disabled poeple as worthless & stupid or just plain incapable.
Well I'll say this being blind I don't think of myself as worthless. I'm doing the best that I can with the vision that I do have. What I really can't stand is how they'll potray people with autism. Not all people with autism be it mild severe are withdrwan They do alot with their lives. Some mutes may not speak but they can communicate other skils. I've even seen paraplegics surf without their legs & I've seen both blind & deaf people become awesome dancers, composers & writers. Now if we can do all of that how come they can't portray us that way in films?
One more thing I'd like to say about the film industry is only this: If your going to do a movie based off something like say a show, video game, a book, or whatever find the right people for it not always a famous face & try to make the plot relatable. The thing to also do is to be more original in the storyline & to stop putting things in 3D. (It's bad enough having to pay twice the amount.) This little "entertainment law" is getting out of hand so the thing to do is to tone some stuff diown. Thats what I gotta say & I'm sticking to it.

So with that all said here's some tunes to get you through things
