Now this year was really no different as far as some of the events go there were celebs going at it with all kinds challenges such as arm wrestling in green gelatin desserts to Jon Cena battling Nick Cannon in a hip hop freestyle dance off.

Aside from that the nominees well you all know who won for favorite cartoon (Then again its no surprise.) But my initial thoughts on this would have to be only this:
Every year they try to keep things different. While I admit I miss when they would do the honors in which they called the wannabe awards. (I guess they ran out of people to honor.) But overall you partly know who's going to win. So its no secret that the KCAs are nothing more but a farce to get kids to watch the network so they'll air a new episode BEFORE the awards start. (Sometimes they'll air a new show afterward.)
Now I may get some backlash in this but I've seen enough rants to know that the show is fixed which is obvious But I will say this I applaud Nick for bringing their classic cartoons back to their otherwise now dying network.
(I recommend you check out the Splat I'll review it later.) But if anything you can tell that the KCAs are fixed & they'll do what they can to keep SpongeBob number one & get people hooked on watching their shows which some aren't that good.
So I guess my main point of this rant would have to be while its cool to see the KCAs every year for the slime & some unexpected surprises this year it was nothing but movie trailers & mostly commercials. While every year they bombard the show with commercials to get kids into buying a product which they always do. But just stick around to see someone get slimed. That's always the best part needless to say its nothing more but a big fix.
