One thing that I've noticed is that they always air a new episode before the ceremonies & then a new show afterwards. why do you think that is? Well the main guess is that they want to get more viewers for the network. You can also tell that some of the votes are surprising rigged.
Especially when it comes to some of the categories like the cartoons for example there are so many to choose from in fact there were about six of them that there were nominated & one show which shall remain nameless always wins. So the real & main question is how is that possible well its obvious that they want to keep it on top ratings wise because they figure that everyone loves a winner.
I should also mention that while the votes might be rigged you rarely ever see action cartoons nominated for the category of favorite cartoon? There have been some good ones over the years especially since they're seriously underrated speaking of which you got a lot of shows, movies & books that are underrated which should get there just dues. But we rather focus on anything popular.
Truth is though the KCAs are mostly a farce to get kids on watching they're network & buying some products by way of product placement. Other than that the main reason I watch it is because of the slime (You know there's going to be a whole mess of that.) But also there's the Wannabe award which they stopped doing because either they ran out of people to honor or it wasn't that important anymore.
But I got to be honest when it comes to the KCAs its pretty much the same thing people winning based on looks & popularity in some cases when it comes to singers or actors half the time. You can also tell that most of the shows games, & music are just selected for the kids when some of them probably don't really watch or listen to any of them.
But overall while you can tell that its just hyped up I watch it to see who's going to get slimed & who the host is. That's all I will watch it for but overall you can tell that its fixed as far as votes & that its mostly a farce. I've seen a whole mess of rants to know that's just what it is mainly a bunch of hype & a farce.
So my point is this: While the KCAs is just nothing more but a big commercial that uses style over substance because they tend tp focus more on popularity you also see it on the Teen Choice Awards. They're just telling kids what to like altogether which you see every year. While its fun to watch I think they should remember to honor people who work hard & talent along with it & maybe go by something kids actually like to see.
