The Voice & The Four Rant

Hey there once again its your old friend DJ Dizzy here & this rant I'm doing involves the two singing competitions that are going to be annoying by far. That of the Four & The Voice.

My main thoughts on the two is only this nothing but the same thing. You have these hopefuls that audition to be like the next big name or whoever is out there but the thing is are you really guaranteed that sort of thing? Answer: Nope. So my main thoughts on this are its just better to sing just for the fun of it because the only thing these shows do is trick you into doing something like be spokesperson for a product & you do see that with American Idol.

Also some of these singers are just in it for the fame you can clearly tell in some cases cause there's always a sob story involved. No disrespect though but if anything some of these shows are all the same you go on it try to eliminate the competition  but also  its more about impressing the judges which you do see a lot of in these shows.

That explain why people get so sick & tired of seeing these competitions. Whatever happened to just having fun & being yourself? You have these singers trying to be someone they aren't that's something I get sick of. There's barely any originality when it comes to what I've seen so far  but instead of trying to be like the next big name that's out there its better to just have fun when it comes to music.

Just do something to relax instead of trying to be famous & stop making up some sob story to gain the sympathy vote cause its been done one too many times.  Also some of the people that really do go on to have a career don't last too long because of either bad management or made some poor choices throughout. Sometimes a bad support system can contribute to this as well.

So my point of all of this would be its just better to have fun with music & just sing for the fun of it because its just better to have fun with what you do & make people happy instead of getting caught up in the fame or being like the next big name.  That's just my opinion.

What makes a true performer be it a musician or a singer isn't their sob story , who they know or how they sound but rather the performance that they present it  should come from themselves & be about the music & be more original. You don't  need to be someone you aren't or live a superstar life in order to succeed. Take away the fame you'll still have the same skills you need to make something of yourself. Just remember that its about doing something you love & because you want to do it.
